Wilderness Survival Campout - May 1994
In May of 1994, we embarked on our first Wilderness Survival Campout. It has since become an annual favorite of the troop. During this outing, each boy is permitted to bring a single fanny pack, stuffed with survival items (like candy and jerky), and then they are permitted to build a shelter in the woods, and sleep in it for one night. This campout covers about 90% of the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
