Camp Information

Camp Redwing has 134 acres of rolling land and timber on White River. Canoeing is available on White River and the nearby reservoir. The camp is rich in the lore of the Delaware Indians. Red Wing is an all purpose camp which has 9 wooded campsites, plus outpost sites, a dining hall, and a repelling tower -- an excellent training camp. Red Wing has one cabin with fireplace (no cooking) for rent.

The camp belonged to the Delaware County Council (headquartered in Muncie, Indiana) prior to the 1972 merger that formed the Crossroads of America Council. Firecrafter also existed in the council prior to the merger. The last Rituals held here were in 1999. The camp is can be found by following US 35 just south of Muncie. There is a sign directing you on to a county road leading east that leads to the camp.
